I am a complete newbie to the whole emulator genre. Hi, I worked it out and I did it by clicking CMD - Z and then + or - to 100% speed just in case anyone else is having the same problem. Should be a setting in config that allows you to manually adjust it.

I've become used to playing vba and desmume where u can manipulate the speed (not in terms of framerate) but make it so that the dialogue and stuff just blurts out quicker and would like to use something similar with Citra.

I can, I found out about this trick months ago and it really boosted the fps in pokemon games, for my sd720G Citra MMJ lags hard in omega ruby and x but with the trick it runs at 30fps in 2x.
